It's not overly 'gamery' but still looks powerful and performant. I personally like the general look and feel of the device. Acer's built-in PredatorSense application for controlling the fans and lights worked very smoothly for me.ĥ. The I/O selection is sufficient, and the Ethernet port is a plus.Ĥ. The boot times are fantastic - it goes from cold start to a responsive Windows desktop in under 4 seconds.ģ.

I've tested Dark Souls III, Desperados III, Dyson Sphere Program and KSP with full graphics mods, and they've all been consistently above 90FPS at full 1080p ultra settings on the laptop display and a solid 60FPS on my external monitor. Performance-wise, I think it's amazing both the CPU and GPU are top-tier.
I decided to review this product partly because of the current situation in the silicon industry and partly because it's a pretty major purchase for anyone to make.ġ. 2 years ago Decent product for the current market.
